This occurs sometimes, and not every time the form is published. Thanks I have seen the same error happen all the time. What I did is publish the form with less columns, if it didn't go thorough, try to cut off even more columns until it successfully publish the form. This job should only be run only if the SQL Server database Server is running out of disk space.Recurring Schedule: 5 minutes Job Title: Microsoft Share Point Foundation Site Inventory Usage Collection Job Description: Collects site inventory information for each site collection in the farm. The issue: A few months ago we added new fields to the form that we wanted promoted into our library.
The error like many say occurs about 30 seconds from the beginning of publishing process.
My form promotes two fields to site columns of a site content type that has thousands of documents created already.
In my development enviroment, the only way I was able to solve this issue was to delete all the Info Path forms, delete the site content type and recrate it, which is not an option in the production enviroment.
Hi, When publishing an browser-enabled Info Path form (option to a site content type) in MOSS version 188.8.131.5219 in a production environment, I am getting the "updating site content type failed" error.
I've seen many threads about this issue but none with a solution that worked for me.
